Late Summer Grass

Grass gone to seed, caught in warm straw tones against a hazy gray that could be sea or sky. The out-of-focus layers give this nature poster its depth, with almost no color at work: sand, cream and a thin line of green. It keeps a bit of August on the wall through the dark months.
