Through the Spruces

Snow drifts down over a stand of spruce, and the painter has worked flecks of yellow and orange into the dark green branches so the forest never reads as cold. Along the ground, apricot and pale yellow run through the drifts like late afternoon light. A winter poster with loose, visible brushwork.
